What should novices pay attention to when operating a DC high-voltage generator?

The DC high voltage generator is a precision electrical measuring instrument. If we use the method improperly, it will not only affect the accuracy of the measurement data of the analytical instrument, but may also shorten the service life of the instrument. Therefore, novices must pay attention to the following items when operating a DC high-voltage generator:
1. Regardless of which company equipment the company purchases, before using it, you must first read the instructions to understand the basic working principles and operating system processes of the relevant equipment;
 
2. Before the test and research, check whether the grounding wires of the control box of the DC system high-voltage generator, the pressure doubler and the tested product are properly connected. The grounding wire of the test loop should be grounded as shown in the design manual:
 
3. When adding two obvious disconnect points to the verifier, when replacing samples and wiring, the working power supply is disconnected;
 
4. When the DC high voltage is 200KV and above, although the researchers wear insulated shoes and are in other areas beyond a safe working distance, due to the influence of the main distribution of the spatial electric field of the high voltage DC ions, it will cause several of us to stand nearby. There are different DC potentials on the body. The test managers should not shake hands or touch the grounding point with their hands, otherwise there may be some slight electric shocks. This phenomenon is more obvious in dry areas and winter, but the energy is relatively small. Will not cause harm to the human body;
 
5. The discharge of the large capacitive test product should be discharged by the resistance bar during the 100Q/V discharge process. The discharge rod should not be immediately contacted with the test product during discharge. The discharge rod should be gradually developed to approach the test product first. When there is a certain social distance and the air passes through the gap, free discharge and hissing can start to appear. When there is no sound, the ground terminal of the discharge rod can be used to discharge, and then a ground wire needs to be connected directly to discharge;
 
6. After the test design is completed, the ground wire must be hung to the output end of the high-voltage system before the high-voltage lead can be removed during the process.
